Gas Sensors

Toxic gases, non-toxic gases, atmospheric gases can be detected by Gas Sensors. Vacker India supplies chemical sensors or gas sensors in regions or areas such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, etc. in India. Detection of gases is also done based on their nature, thus these type of sensors are also called as chemical sensors. Chemical sensors are also termed as Gas Detectors.

There are various types of gas or chemical sensors. Vacker India supplies the below listed gas sensors:

  • CO2 sensor for detection of Carbon dioxide
  • Gas leakage sensor
  • Ammonia, Sulfur Dioxide (SO2)
  • Methane (CH4) sensor for the detection of Methane gas
  • Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
  • Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)
  • CO sensor detects Carbon monoxide
  • Argon detector
  • Hydrogen sensor
  • O2 sensor detects O2
  • LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) sensor
  • Ozone (O3) sensor
  • Natural Gas (CNG) sensor

Types of Sensors we supply in India

Vacker India supplies portable gas sensors as well as fixed gas sensors in areas such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, etc.

  • Portable Gas Sensors India (Gas Detection Meters): These are light and movable and useful for hazardous environments or environmental segments in which excessive gas may be harmful. People carry detectors and check if the gas level is within permissible limits or not before entering.
  • Fixed Gas Sensors India: These are fixed in one place and give readings of the gas level. They are also applicable in industrial sectors (Industrial Automation).

Carbon monoxide detector or CO sensor with external contacts and alarms

Gas Sensor Vacker India

CO gas detector or CO sensor is a commonly used sensor type. It checks the carbon monoxide level in the atmosphere. It is useful for industrial as well as in general environments. It is named as CO sensor as an abbreviated form of carbon monoxide sensor.

Mechanical instruments produce carbon monoxide. Vehicles, generators and motors produce carbon monoxide. It is harmful for the human body and respiratory system. There is a permitted level of carbon monoxide, excess of which will cause health problems or death of the individual. So, it is very much required on the industrial segment to find out the level of carbon monoxide. It is attached with a gas level and an alarm. On reaching the maximum level, an alarm is generated.

Carbon monoxide is mostly used in suffocated areas like parking lots, underground plants, mines etc. The alarms generated by Carbon Monoxide detectors or sensors can be presented in audio or visual forms. After exceeding the level of carbon monoxide, sensor gives alert and then displays the data that can be sent to NO/NC contacts as well.

Oxygen Sensor or O2 sensor in India for safe environments

Oxygen sensors also named as Oxygen detectors monitor the oxygen level in the environment or in any closed place. This type of detector is for operation of a safe environment for human beings. The oxygen level in the air is measured as a percentage of the total air or in parts per million (ppm).

Automotive engines, generators are also required to control the oxygen level. Hence, oxygen sensors are used to check the intake air quality for efficient combustion cycle in automobiles. Oxygen sensors help to decrease air pollution.

CO2 sensor or Carbon Dioxide gas sensor or detector in India

CO2 gas sensor is also another type of gas detector. This is also used in automobiles, industrial, environmental sectors for the detection of carbon dioxide. CO2 sensor gives the level of the gas and displays or records information and generates alarms. Automation, control, display can be done using both analog and digital signals produced by the sensors.

Instruments which are built using a combination of CO, CO2 and O2 sensors are known as Air Quality Monitors.

Some of the other sensors we supply in India:

Toxic gas sensor or detector India

This type of sensor is used to monitor toxic gases’ level in the atmosphere. Some examples of toxic gases are Sulphur dioxide or SO2, Hydrogen Sulphide or H2S, Methane or CH4, Nitrogen dioxide or NO2, etc.

Gas sensors based on MQ sensor technology

MQ sensor is a gas sensor technique. The principle of operation of MQ is that resistance and output current varies depending on the gas detected by the sensor. Vacker India or India supplies MQ-2, MQ-3 and MQ-4 models of MQ sensors.
