Insulated Containers

///Insulated Containers

Insulated Containers are used for the shipment of temperature perceptive products such as food, organs, chemicals, blood, etc. They are used to maintain the efficiency and freshness of the product. They are also called insulated swap bodies or intermodal containers. These insulated containers are a type of vacuum flask or thermos. Sheets of foamed plastics, bubble wrap or other gas panels, metallized film, fabricated thermal blankets or liners etc. are generally used in construction of insulated container.

Some insulated containers are refrigeration units that are not needed to be charged and are generally used by diabetic patients in order to keep their insulin injections. Whereas, some other containers are for single-use while others are for reuse purpose. Vacker India supplies insulated containers in various regions of India such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, etc.

Use of Insulated Containers

These containers are a part of a comprehensive cold chain which controls and adjusts the temperature of the particular product. Phase change materials, ice packs, slurry ice etc. are some the products that use an insulated container with a coolant. In the monitor, a digital temperature logger is attached for the temperature accuracy throughout the shipment procedure. Special handling is required for the shipment of the product by the personnel.

Design and Evaluation

Some of the containers are called "off the shelf" whose performance is not guaranteed. The factors such as regulatory requirements, the sensitivity of the products to high and low temperatures, a special combination of material being used etc. are to be focused upon. The temperature must be adjusted according to the need of the product to keep it safe. If the temperature becomes high or low, special attention must be given in order to maintain the efficiency of the product.

We, at Vacker India, supply a wide range of insulated containers. We provide efficient and different types of containers as per the need of our valuable customers of India. We have been meeting demands of our customers in most of the major cities of India namely Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, etc.

The main two characteristics of insulated containers are its thickness and thermal conductivity. These two characteristics help in the determination whether the insulated container is heat resistance or not. The amount of heat that a parcel can take is determined by the coolant material, sensible heat and quantity.

The quality of the insulator or coolant allows the analysis of insulated container system. The proper and prescribed verification of the performance of the container must be done on a regular basis. The performance of the insulated conductors must be checked for future use. Temperature reactive products need specialists for packaging and testing.

Environmental Impact

In the past, insulated containers were single-use products. They were low-cost material composition. Some were made up of water-based gel packs. The reusable types of insulated containers are being developed nowadays. They are 95% effective and give high performance.
